Abstract

This research aims to conduct a literature study on the management of cash waqf as an investment instrument in Indonesia. Cash waqf is an innovative concept that combines philanthropy and investment with the goal of enhancing the management and utilization of waqf in a more effective manner. The research method used in this study is literature analysis. Various literature sources such as scholarly journals, articles, books, and relevant research reports on the research topic will be collected and systematically analyzed. The obtained data will be analyzed to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities related to the management of cash waqf as an investment instrument in Indonesia. The findings of this literature study are expected to provide a deeper understanding of the management of cash waqf as an investment instrument in Indonesia. This can contribute to the development of more effective strategies and policies to promote the use of cash waqf as a sustainable investment alternative. Some anticipated findings from this research include the identification of existing models of cash waqf management, the impact of cash waqf on economic growth and social development, challenges faced in the management of cash waqf, as well as opportunities and potential for the development of cash waqf in Indonesia. The conclusion of this research is expected to provide guidance and recommendations for stakeholders, including financial institutions, zakat management bodies, the government, and the general public, to enhance the management of cash waqf as a sustainable and socially impactful investment instrument in Indonesia.
