Abstract

Abdullah Nashih Ulwan is a figure who has full attention to education. He has extraordinary thoughts about the goals of Islamic education which is oriented towards character and value education. This study uses descriptive analysis research based on library research, namely research whose data collection is carried out by collecting data from various literatures in the form of books and journals. The focus in this study is to examine how the analysis of the conception of value education in Abdullah Nashih Ulwan's perspective. The technique used in data collection is to collect data indirectly by examining the object in question. The concept of value education in Abdullah Nashih Ulwan's perspective is comprehensive education and focuses on education that is fundamental and universal. Value education is internalized in noble psychological basic values ​​based on faith that prioritizes social values ​​and ethics with compassion, care. The concept of value education promoted by Abdullah Nashih Ulwan includes: first, value education is the inculcation of values ​​(religious, moral and social values), which is carried out from an early age, according to the time. The application of value education can be integrated into other aspects of knowledge; Second, the purpose of value education is the creation of human beings with noble character, Amar ma'ruf nahi munkar, hablum minallah wa hablum minannaas. The three methods of value education can be done by habituation, active learning, exemplary, advice, supervision and punishment. Value education embodied in faith, moral, physical/mental, intellectual, mental/psychic, social and sex education cannot stand alone. , because it is a unified whole.
